Interview: "Bloodhounds" VO actor Anthony Ma
New interview Actor Anthony Ma voiced the English dub for Woo-jin (played by Korean actor Lee Sang-yi) in “Bloodhounds.”
The world of voice-over (VO) is something I have wanted to find out more about, especially as international content continues to grow.
The multi-talented actor, writer and filmmaker took the time to discuss his work on Kdramas like “Bloodhounds,” “The Glory,” and “Rookie Cops.”
Anthony also shared industry insights on casting, working with narrative vs. reality genres, and advice for aspiring VO actors.
“ A lot of my Asian American actor friends started getting a jolt up in voice acting, because of this awesome surge in Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese content.
People in our industry are casting correctly instead of having just some White dude voice over an Asian guy. Now they’re actually casting Asian Americans.”
