Welcome to the post-Christmas stretch; thank yourself for surviving. Now that we’re past the shopping frenzy and sugar bomb-filled gatherings, a year-end hibernation seems apropos for complementing the season’s freezing temps.

Latest premieres Season 2 of “Squid Game” premieres today. After much hype, with spinoff reality shows, in-person immersive hoopla, and a new mobile game to boot, the second season of class warfare promises another bloodbath.

What I’m watching ”Who Is She” - bc Kim Hae-sook (“Mr. Plankton,” + a gazillion other titles) is a queen. It follows a few too many of the feature film version’s characterizations for my taste, but it’s lighter fare I’ve been in the mood for.

And, 2025 beckons with Park Hyung-sik (“Doctor Slump”), Han Ji-min (“Behind Your Touch”), Lee Min-ho (“Pachinko”), Jeon Ji-hyun, Kang Dong-won, Park Bo-gum, Lee Je-hoon, Lee Jung-eun, and “Signal 2” and so much more! Stay tuned.
